What is excellence in design?

Its enveloping us with a joyous rush and expands our minds, it reaches for our soul. It is motionless yet can move all our feelings and excites our dreams without a word. It is subliminal, sometimes startling and instantaneous, or peaceful and melodic. In sight and sound, in color and fabric, it stands the test of time, designed for humans and their human needs and unknown wants, their lives made alive.
